How to climb from Daisekkei/Kata-no-Koya entrance to the summit of Mt. Norikura (Kengamine) (Norikura Echo Line road closure lifted on July 17th (Fri)) (Edited July 18th)

This time, we will guide you on a route from the Daisekkei bus stop to the summit of Mt. Norikura and Tatamidaira.

In front of the Daisetsukei bus stop is a large snow-covered slope, which is the origin of the bus stop's name.

By climbing this section, you can reach the point where it merges with the hiking trail coming from Tatamidaira.

Actually, the distance to Kengamine is
You'll see that it's closer from the Daisekkei/Kata-no-Koya entrance than from Tatamidaira.
Instead, the starting point is about 80 meters lower than Tatamidaira, so there will be more uphill sections.

The hiking trail is located to the right of the Daisekkei (Great Snow Valley), and as of July 16th (Thursday), there is no snow on the trail.

At the mountain hut at the top of the Daisekkei (Great Snow Valley), you'll rejoin the trail coming from Tatamidaira.
From there to the summit of Kengamine, the route is the same as the one from Tatamidaira.
