Announcement of the new reservation-priority transfer bus service from Kamikochi to Sawando to Norikura Kogen.

A new reservation-priority transfer bus service has been established to provide convenience for customers traveling from Kamikochi to Norikura Kogen by bus.

Traditionally, you would take a shuttle bus from Kamikochi to Sawando Bus Terminal (no reservation required), and then transfer to a regular bus bound for Norikura Kogen (no reservation required) at Sawando Bus Terminal.

On weekends and holidays, long lines formed at the shuttle bus stop between Kamikochi and Sawando, sometimes making transfers difficult.

The newly established reservation-priority transfer bus service is exclusively for those traveling by bus from Kamikochi to Norikura Kogen/Shirahone Onsen.
You can reserve a bus ticket between Kamikochi and Sawando.
With a reservation, you can board the bus from Kamikochi without waiting, even during long holidays, and smoothly transfer to the bus bound for Norikura Kogen.

Also, when making a reservation, you can reserve and purchase tickets for buses from Kamikochi to various bus stops within Norikura Plateau.
You do not need to buy a ticket at Sawando Bus Terminal.

The Norikura Kogen Line, which is the connecting bus, does not require reservations as before, but those who have made a reservation and boarded the reservation-priority bus
In the unlikely event that the flight is fully booked, they will arrange for an additional flight. (However, if an additional flight is added, there may be delays.)

Please make your reservation through the Alpico Kotsu website or at an Alpico Kotsu ticket counter.
We do not accept reservations by phone.

The bus stop is platform 6 at the Kamikochi Bus Terminal.

*There is no reservation-priority bus service available for travel from Norikura Kogen to Kamikochi.

*Please note that reservations are not available for passengers traveling only between Kamikochi and Sawando. Please use the conventional shuttle bus service, which does not require reservations.
