Shuttle bus transfer parking information

Norikura High-Rise Nuclear Power PlantShuttle bus to Norikura-dake Tatamidaira and Daisekkei areaThis is information regarding the transfer parking area.

There are several parking lots within Norikura Plateau where you can transfer to a shuttle bus.

On busy days, some parking lots may be full, but not all parking lots will ever be full.
Please use these instructions to park in an available parking space and then transfer to the bus.

Please note that even if the bus stop changes due to the parking lot being full, you will still be able to board the bus for the time you reserved.

Please inform the bus attendant that you have changed your boarding stop when you check in for your bus.

Parking Lot 1 (Tourist Center Parking Lot)

This is the parking lot in front of the Norikura Kogen Tourist Center. The starting bus stop for buses heading towards Mount Norikura is located within the parking lot grounds.
The parking lot may be full in the morning on weekends and holidays.

If the main parking lot is full, there is one unpaved parking lot across the prefectural road, and another parking lot just before the entrance to the Super Forest Road leading to Shirahone Onsen. (Across from Petit Hotel Alm)

On weekdays, you should be able to park in one of the above parking lots.

The nearest bus stop is Norikura Kogen Tourist Center.

Yamaboshi Parking Lot (Parking Lot 3)

If the parking lots around the tourist center are full, drive along Prefectural Road 84 towards Mt. Norikura for about 3-4 minutes and you will see on your left side "Yamaboshi Parking LotThere is the largest parking lot in the plateau area, called "Mt. Norikura Snow Resort's parking lot."

Please park here, in front of the parking lotNorikura Ski ResortYou can board the shuttle bus from the (former Suzuran Bridge) bus stop.
If you have booked a bus in advance and your boarding stop has changed, please inform the bus attendant when you board.

The restrooms in the Yamaboshi parking lot will be available until October 12th.

Sanbon Falls Parking Lot

You can also transfer to the shuttle bus at the Sanbon-taki parking lot, but please note that this is because it is used by people who are climbing by bicycle, etc.
It tends to be more crowded than the "Yamaboshi Parking Lot".

Also, if you are getting on or off between Igahara Mountain Lodge and Tatamidaira, the fare will be the same whether you board at the Tourist Center or the Yamaboshi parking lot.
(If you are getting on or off at the Reizen-goya or Marishiten bus stop, the fare will be cheaper if you get on or off at the Sanbon-taki parking lot.)
