Kamikochi-Norikura Super Forest Road Line A (Norikura Plateau to Nagawa)It was scheduled to reopen after its winter closure on April 27th,

Because road improvement work was to be carried out immediately after the opening,

Even after the winter closure is lifted, through traffic will still not be permitted.

(The section from Norikura Plateau to Shirakaba Pass is passable, but the section from Nagawa to Shirakaba Pass is not.)

If you are coming from the Nagawa/Kiso area, take Prefectural Road 84 (Norikura-dake Line) and then National Route 158.

Please take Prefectural Road 26, the Nagawa-Kiso Line.

Please note that there will be no significant difference in travel time due to the detour.
