NORIKURA KOGEN TRAILS, which opened at the beginning of the 2022 green season, is a trail course that offers two types of activities: JOYFUL WALKS NORIKURA (trekking) and NORIKURA COMMUNITY MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS (MTB). The trail course offers a wide variety of activities. In this issue, we will introduce how to enjoy the NORIKURA KOGEN TRAILS, which are rich in variety and full of Norikura's charms.

Finally, the first mountain bike trail in the national park was realized, and the original course was opened by creating a trail head (starting point) for hiking as well! Many people are enjoying it. Zengoro Falls - Ushidome Pond - Azami Pond This route takes in some of Norikura Kogen's most popular spots, with moderate ups and downs. The route passes through tunnels of trees and waterfalls and ponds, making for a pleasant trekking experience.

Ichinose Meadow Trail

There are many skunk cabbage colonies along the route that bloom first in spring, and the route does not have much difference in elevation, so you can tour around the ponds as if you were taking a stroll. Flowers blooming in each season and the quiet atmosphere unique to Norikura Kogen will welcome you.

Sanbon Falls Trail

This is a greedy route to visit Norikura's recommended spots by walking from the trailhead to Sanbon Falls. The Sanbon Falls, reached on foot, are incomparably refreshing. From there, the paths of the squirrels, the primeval forest, and the two paths leading down to the plateau are also highly recommended, each with its own unique natural flavor. The Zengoro Falls, which awaits you at the end of the tour, will blow away all your fatigue.

NORIKURA KOGEN TRAILS is a trail "supported by everyone". We would like to protect and support NORIKURA KOGEN TRAILS together with various people. With this in mind, we ask all users to pay a maintenance cooperation fee (supporter) so that you can enjoy the trails sustainably and safely.
