Mount Mae-Hotaka

Mae-Hotaka-dake

Good evening!
Yuma, a member of the playing contract!

I was playing alone today lol.
As a mountain lover, I took a one-day trip to Mae-Hotaka before the Bon Festival!
Many people stay at Norikura Kogen and play on Mt. Norikura or within Norikura Kogen, or even visit Kamikochi while staying at Norikura Kogen.
Kamikochi can be reached in one hour by car or shuttle bus. We also recommend a visit to Taishoike Pond in the early morning when it is shrouded in morning mist. There is also a bus from Norikura Kogen to Kamikochi! If you can come by public transportation, there is a special ticket called "Kamikochi/Norikura/Matsumoto 2-Day Passport" (you can add an extra day to make it a 3-day passport). @alpicogroup ⁣

You can enjoy the Norikura-dake sunrise bus with this pass, and then take the bus to Kamikochi for a full day of sightseeing!
Some active people go to Kamikochi by bicycle!
And if you are a mountain lover like me, you can go to Mt. Yake (5 to 6 hours round trip from the trailhead in Kamikochi) and Mt. Some people stay overnight before traversing Mt. Yarigatake or the Hotaka mountain range, and on the way back, they can relax in Norikura's hot springs and return home after a long day.
During the summer and fall climbing season, why not stay in Norikura and enjoy not only Norikura, but also Kamikochi and the Chubu-Sangaku National Park?

Good evening!
It's Yuma from the ASOBU Yakusoku team!

I just had to get our for a day by myself before the busy Japanese holiday called Obon comes.
Lots of people use Norikura Kogen as a base to take day trips to Kamikochi as it's easy to access and a nice place to return to after a day in the mountains. You can get to Kamikochi in about an hour by car or shuttle bus. I recommend starting your hike from Taisho Pond, the early morning mist is awesome. You can also take a bus from Norikura Kogen to Kamikochi!
And you can also ride your bicycle to Kamikochi if you have the energy.
If you are like me and love the mountains, you can go on a day trip to Yakedake (5 to 6 hours round-trip from Kamikochi) or Maeho Takadake (for those with good legs and alpine hiking skills). How about enjoying the Chūbu-Sūbu mountain range?) How about enjoying the Chūbu-Sangaku National Park in Kamikochi as well as Norikura Kogen this climbing season from summer to autumn?
