What is a play promise?

We have an announcement for everyone.

The Norikura Highlands Promotion Team has been newly established with the desire to spread the word about the wonderful nature, activities, and people who live in Norikura Highlands.
A total of seven members, including members from Norikura who love their hometown and members who were so enchanted by Norikura that they moved across the ocean and prefectures, will be leading the charge to convey the charms of Norikura Highlands. We will deliver recommended areas and ways to enjoy the area that only locals know, from each member's perspective and in their own words. Of course, everyone can easily experience it♪

So we decided to # Play Promise " is our motto, and we will be gathering regularly to cover Norikura Highlands while having fun in various ways. We plan to focus on the natural beauty of Norikura, as well as the people, inns, hot springs, and shops.

From now on, the seven of us, Setsu, Yuma, Azumi, Kenny, Kohei, Mitsuru, and Yushi, will be spreading the charm of Norikura. We will do our best to make it enjoyable for everyone, so we hope you will support us.

About ASOBU Yakusoku – “A Promise to Play”

Hello everyone.
We hope you have been enjoying photos from Norikura Kogen and the surrounding area.

Starting this month, a new promotion team will start sharing photos and stories about the beautiful nature, activities, and attractions from a locals perspective.
The new team is made up of seven people, some were born here, others relocated here from other parts of Japan and one moved across an ocean to live here. We will highlight must-visit locations, talk about what's fun to do here from each member's unique perspective.

We are calling this project “ASOBU YAKUSOKU” which means “promise to play” in Japanese. As we get out an enjoy playing in the Japanese Alps we will focus on community, onsen, nature, accommodations, and local shops.

From today we will start to introduce the 7 team members. They are Seth, Yuma, Azumi, Kenny, Koei, Mitsuru, and Yushi. We hope you will enjoy our stories and photos.
