To all those driving through the traffic-restricted section of Prefectural Road Norikura-dake Line<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the prohibition of parking and stopping of vehicles during the autumn foliage season<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Traffic restrictions on Prefectural Road Norikuradake Line have been in place since 2003 to preserve the precious natural environment of Mt. Norikura and ensure a comfortable environment for users. To ensure smooth implementation of traffic restrictions, security guards are stationed at Sanbontaki Gate to guide and organize traffic between vehicles with permission to pass and vehicles subject to traffic restrictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this situation, the number of vehicles passing through has increased in recent years, and there are concerns about accidents occurring due to vehicles parking and stopping, especially during the autumn foliage season. For this reason, as a trial, in fiscal year 2022 we will be designating periods and sections where we ask that you refrain from parking and stopping during the autumn foliage season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About purchasing stickers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The costs of restricting private vehicles are covered by contributions from local stakeholders, contributions from users, and the purchase fees of stickers from those who have been granted permission to pass. We ask that all those who have been granted permission to pass understand the purpose of the measure and purchase a sticker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
