Even though spring has arrived on the plateau, the Norikuradake Spring Mountain Bus operates in early spring when snow still remains on the mountain. The section of the Norikura Echo Line from Sanbontaki Falls to the summit of Mt. Norikura (Tamatamidaira) is subject to restrictions on private vehicles and closed during the winter (November to June).
