\The Norikura Hill Climb 2025 will be held on Sunday, August 31st, 2025! Entry for the Matsumoto Hill Climb will start on February 1st, ahead of the individual entry from March 7th! /

I can't wait for that hot season! It has been decided that the Norikura Hill Climb will be held again in 2025!
Entries will be accepted starting at 10am on Friday, March 7th.

In addition, ahead of the individual entries, entries for the Matsumoto Hill Climb 2025, which will take part in both the Tour de Utsukushigahara Plateau Bicycle Race 2025, held on Matsumoto's eastern slopes, and the Norikura Hill Climb 2025, held on Matsumoto's western slopes, will begin to be accepted from 10am on Saturday, February 1st!

The extremely popular Sky Hill Climb is a great opportunity to take on the challenge of racing through Matsumoto.

Matsumoto Hill Climb Series

A series race will be held for participants of both the Tour de Utsukushigahara Highlands Bicycle Race 2025 and the Norikura Hill Climb 2025. The series race will be separated by gender and will be open to those who have completed both races. Points will be awarded based on the overall results of each race, and the overall ranking will be determined by the lowest total points from the series races.

The Norikura Hill Climb is held on the Norikura Echo Line, the closest bicycle road to the sky.
The finish line is at an altitude of 2,720m, making it the highest bicycle race in Japan. Visitors from Japan and abroad can experience the thrill of hill climbing and the magnificent, naturally rich Norikura Plateau. The bicycle race aims to widely promote Norikura Plateau and Matsumoto City, as well as to increase the vitality of the region.
