To all supporters of Mt. Norikura Snow Resort. Progress Report and Disclosure of Supporters (and Hopefuls) with Support Funds

Thank you very much for your donations to help Mt. Norikura Snow Resort continue operating for the 2024-25 season. Many people have also supported us through crowdfunding after donating, and we truly appreciate the deep love and kindness you all have shown for Norikura Highlands and the ski resort.

First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize for the delay in expressing our gratitude and announcing the names of all those who provided support.

This season, we have temporarily handed over management to the local community, but with the cooperation of Matsumoto City, we plan to look for a company to join us in management from next year onwards and take on even more innovative initiatives. In the midst of this crisis, we asked for support to settle outstanding payments, and with the support we received from many people, we were able to continue operating this season. We would like to express our deepest gratitude once again.

Now, I would like to report on some aspects of the ski resort operations.

[Announcement of completion of share transfer]
On January 31, 2025, the parent company, Blue Capital Management Co., Ltd., completed the transfer of 100% shares to members of the Mt. Norikura Snow Resort Management Council.

background
Until now, Mt. Norikura Snow Resort has been operated by Blue Resort Norikura Co., Ltd., which was operated with investment from Blue Capital Management Co., Ltd. (100%). Mr. Harada also served as the representative. However, with this share transfer, 100%'s shares in Blue Resort Norikura Co., Ltd. have been transferred to the Mt. Norikura Snow Resort Management Council, and the representative has changed from Mr. Harada to Ken Yamaguchi, representative of the Management Council.
Due to the ropeway (lift) permit, the company name will remain "Blue Resort Norikura Co., Ltd.", but shareholders and management have been completely transferred to local ownership. This means that Mt. Norikura Snow Resort can be run by local residents, and will be able to operate in a way that is more rooted in the local community.

[Free admission for those under 18]
This measure was introduced with the objectives of "creating an image with an unprecedented impact, increasing the number of future snow sports enthusiasts (young people), and attracting families, leading to the revitalization of not only the ski resort but the entire region." In particular, full-scale operations only began in December, and the ski resort's sales activities had not been sufficient up until that point, so a measure to act as a trigger for attracting customers was necessary. Also, since lift ticket sales to high school students and younger accounted for only about 10% of the total, the decision was made to implement this measure, considering that amount as advertising expenses. Furthermore, by making lift tickets free, ski and snowboard rentals have increased, and rental sales have been steadily increasing, up 150% compared to the previous year.

[Regarding Primavera's suspension of business]
The main reason for the suspension of Primavera's operations was an extremely difficult situation, as determined by an analysis of the income and expenditures of both Yukemurikan and Primavera over the past three years. Initially, it was difficult to continue operating Yukemurikan itself, but by shortening business hours and reducing staff, we were able to keep it running just barely. On the other hand, securing staff for Primavera has been difficult, and its past income and expenditures have also been difficult. We considered outsourcing operations to other businesses, but this was difficult from an expense perspective, and we were forced to make the decision to suspend operations in order to mitigate risk as much as possible.

[Regarding weekday holidays in March]
Regarding the weekday closing days in March that were originally planned, we have decided to keep the store open given the current favorable business conditions.
However, due to the issue of securing personnel, the Yamaboshi Lift will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which are normally its regular closing days, and only the Sanroku Lift, Yumenodaira Quad Lift, and Kamoshika Lift will be open.

[Future policy]
As we look towards the future of Mt. Norikura Snow Resort, we plan to find a company that will operate the resort together with us and engage in M&A (mergers and acquisitions). In order to operate the ski resort stably and aim for further development, it is absolutely necessary to make capital investments and introduce new measures. For this reason, we plan to work with trusted partner companies to achieve sustainable ski resort operations.
