The altitude is high, 1,500m at the bottom and 2,000m at the top, so the temperature is low, and since it is on the eastern slope of the mountain, the snow is light, making this a ski resort that boasts high quality snow.

The ski resort once faced financial difficulties in October 2024, but thanks to a group of local volunteers called the "Ski Resort Support Group," they were able to raise 35 million yen in operating funds and successfully continue operating this season.
