The following two items were the conditions for making the final business decision, and both were met today, the 30th.

1. Blue Resort Norikura Co., Ltd. will conclude a financial support contract by October 30th that includes a clause indicating its intention to take over the operation of the ski resort to the local community.

→ EveryoneThanks to you, as of today, the 30th, we have confirmed deposits of over 35 million yen.

Having met these two conditions, we have decided to use the funds you have donated to continue operations this season to pay outstanding debts and begin preparations to resume operations, which have been suspended since early October. We are truly grateful for the support and encouragement of all those who support Norikura, which has enabled us to continue operations amid these rapid developments. We would also like to thank Blue Capital Management, who has supported the local community amid the difficult circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic and has provided us with great cooperation and special consideration for the future of Norikura.

[Schedule for future operations]
We will now move forward at a rapid pace with preparations to open for business, but the number of lifts in operation and the operating period will depend on funding and preparations. With the support money, we have paid off outstanding expenses and have the funds to start operations, but we do not yet have enough working capital, so we plan to start crowdfunding in mid-November, and we appreciate your continued support.

【lastly】
We are truly grateful that we have been able to keep the ski resort in the hands of the local community thanks to your support. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Blue Capital Management, who has operated the ski resort until now and has now decided to transfer it to the local community.
On the other hand, although it has been decided that the resort will continue to operate for the 24/25 season, the facilities are aging, and if it continues to operate in the same way as before, it will still be in a difficult financial situation. The volunteer group is very happy that the resort will continue to operate, but also feels that it has reached a new starting point for a difficult journey. Going forward, the Ski Resort Management Council will take the lead in considering new management policies with an eye to the future, and we would appreciate your continued support.
