NORIKURA TIMES (end of winter)

Although it was said to be a warm winter, the cold was severe this year at Norikura Highlands. As March began, the temperature gradually rose, and the arrival of spring was felt. We will introduce ways to enjoy Norikura Highlands, which can be enjoyed during this time of year when there are three cold days and four warm days.

① Stargazing

Stargazing is said to be most beautiful in winter. Norikura Plateau is at a high altitude and has few light sources, making it one of Japan's leading stargazing spots, where you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye.
It's too cold in the middle of winter, but it might be easier to go now that it's a little warmer.
The trick to stargazing is to do it around the time of the new moon when the moonlight won't interfere.
This month it is Sunday, March 10th.
Why not come and enjoy the starry sky?

② Ski resort information

Although it's getting warmer, you can still enjoy snow activities on the slopes of Mt. Norikura Snow Resort in Norikura Highlands. If you haven't been able to go skiing yet this season, why not come and enjoy some snow activities at Norikura Highlands?
