The cold winter weather has finally arrived in earnest at Norikura Plateau.
The harsh yet lively season has arrived. This time we will bring you information on daily life, activities, and events in Norikura.

At many of the inns on Norikura Plateau, the cold winter weather makes the pickles taste even better.
The author of this article has only been living in Norikura for four months, but he is completely hooked on pickles.
My favorite is the traditional Shinshu pickled Hohei turnip, harvested in Naka, next to Norikura. Please give it a try.

・Ski resort opening

Mt. Norikura Snow Resort, located in Norikura Plateau, opened on Saturday, December 9th.
This ski resort, located at the foot of Mount Norikura, offers a wide variety of courses for beginners to advanced skiers. You can also enjoy the excellent powder snow, which is made possible by the dry snow conditions. Come and experience the ultimate skiing experience and unique floating sensation.

・Information about the New Year's Fireworks Festival

Fireworks will be launched for three consecutive nights starting at 8:30 PM on January 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2024!
