Ichinose is a place with green grasslands, white birches, and Mount Norikura in the distance and blue skies. It is a place where you can see the typical Norikura scenery all year round. Unusually for a mountainous area, it is a plain with few undulations. In June, the fiery blooms of the Japanese azaleas adorn Ichinose. Looking out over Mount Norikura from the azalea garden, the red of the Japanese azaleas, the white of the snow-covered Mount Norikura, and the fresh greenery of Ichinose all come together, creating a feeling of energy from the harmonious colors of nature.
