Since the Echo Line opens from 7/1, we took a bus from the Skyline (open from 5/15) to Tatamidaira this time.

We spent the day exploring around the highest bus stop in Japan (2,716m) on Mount Norikura.
The weather was amazing and we got some spectacular shots from Mount Mao and Mount Fujimi.

Enjoy a short walk in the clouds or a more intense hike to the summit. Mount Norikura should be on your to-do list this summer.
Shuttle bus service from Norikura Kogen (Alpico Bus) to Mount Norikura Tadamidaira Bus Terminal will start from July 1st and service is also available from the Gifu side via Hoonoki Daira (Nohi Bus).

The most popular pastime introduced in this issue is mountain climbing and trekking in the magnificent scenery.

Daikoku-dake, Maodake, and Fujimidake are mountains that can be easily climbed from Tatamidaira. All of them can be reached in about 30 minutes. I was able to climb the mountains with the most pleasant feeling in the magnificent scenery.

Mountains that can be easily climbed from Tatamidaira are Mount Mao, Mount Fujimi. They can be reached in about 30 minutes and are worth the walk. The cool mountain air felt great today.
